Dr. Shachi is available at our Hoppers Crossing & Tarneit clinics.

Dr. Shachi Mehta is a compassionate chiropractor who brings warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care to every person she serves. Originally from India, she grew up with a deep respect for health and family values, which inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare. Shachi completed her chiropractic degree at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2023.

Her clinical approach is balanced and adaptable. While she primarily uses manual adjusting techniques, she also incorporates gentler methods like Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) and Activator when appropriate. This combination allows her to tailor care to each individual’s needs—ensuring comfort and effectiveness for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Shachi has a special interest in supporting patients with back and neck pain, chronic conditions, scoliosis, nerve dysfunction, headaches, and workplace-related injuries. She integrates rehabilitation principles into her care to help patients move and function better in the long term, not just feel temporary relief.

What she values most about chiropractic is its ability to positively influence the nervous system and, in turn, enhance a person’s overall wellbeing. She finds great fulfilment in guiding people toward becoming the healthiest, most empowered versions of themselves.

A member of both the Australian Chiropractors Association and the New Zealand Chiropractic Association, Shachi remains committed to continuous growth through hands-on learning.

Outside of her practice, Shachi enjoys cooking, journaling, and immersing herself in nature and new cultures. She combines a calm demeanour with an energetic spirit, bringing passion and care to everything she does.
